Speaking truth to power works. Being brave and vulnerable as a leader works. Leading with joy and clarity works. When I reconnect my clients with what they knew to be true about themselves and show them how to play their biggest and most fearless game, they are able to unleash a level of leadership impact they hadn’t thought was possible. And the best part is, they learn to release that kinetic force in other people.

I have over 10,000 hours of professional coaching experience with hundreds of executives and teams in 26 countries worldwide. I also have spent 26 years leading and consulting in hi-tech. With that experience, and as I look forward, I know that my purpose is to help people be seen—and step fully into the power of who they are. To step out of the shared human experience of yearning to belong but always feeling like Outsiders looking in. To recognize and honor that they want more, they want better, they want something that’s bigger or freer or braver—that’s breaking the mold, even if the mold was something they created themselves.

In addition to heading up The Infinite Impact Group, my Seattle-based leadership and organizational development firm, I partner closely with TED speaker and best-selling author Dr. Brené Brown on Dare to Lead™, the ground-breaking program that teaches leaders and corporations how to operationalize #1 skill they need today: courage. Through public speaking, authoring, coaching, and mentoring, I equip them with authentic courage and proven tools to integrate that courage into everyday leadership and life in observable, measurable ways.

I am all too familiar with the blinding disconnect between “poster speak” and real life—between typical corporate commitments to words like Courage and Values and the often-disconcerting lived experience of good people trying to do their best in an increasingly complex world. I know, first-hand, what it feels like to be an Outsider, the one person who doesn’t fit in and doesn’t belong.

As an immigrant who arrived in the US at age 22 with $500, a scholarship and a passport; one of the first female leaders of color in the hard-edged world of high-tech who nonetheless went on to lead extraordinarily high-performing teams in wildly challenging circumstances; as someone who was often the only person who looked like, or sounded like, or thought like me in arenas from 10 to 10,000—I learned how to embrace my differences and make them my edge—my Outsider’s Edge.

And I’m committed to helping you find yours. I love the fierce aliveness that is generated when people genuinely partner to create something great. To work at this DNA level is to crack the code of who we really are, of what drives us to dream big dreams, take big risks, and truly move the worlds in which we live.

In work as in life, I am committed to daring greatly, earning my scars every day and striving to wear them with grace, humor, and joy. If you’re ready, reach out! Let’s connect. We’ve got this!

“Working with Lakshmi disrupted my way of thinking and helped me to see myself in a new, more powerful way – which enabled me to be seen in a new way by others. Lakshmi helped me to have confidence in – and not shy away from, my intuition while balancing the analytical rigor required in today’s business world. My work with her enabled me to model, lead, coach and accomplish results I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise.”

A lifelong learner who explicitly prioritizes learning and growth, I’m always adding to my toolkit. My criteria are simple:
